I've been looking for a new studio for quite some time now. I had been working in the basement of my house on one table with no window. It was a bit cramped and while I loved working from home, I was not producing as much work as I had hoped.

Hi April,
ReplyDeleteLife brings about changes and journeys. I see you have meoved on in a lot of positive ways that offer you growth. I know your Dad would be proud of his renegade moving and shaking things up. That is wonderful. As usual the art is uniquely expressive. Unfortunatley, I lost my Dad January 16, 2012. Even though he had been ill I still wasn't expecting it. He talked about your Dad a lot in the last few weeks of his life. He was very fond of him. They are probably laughing, up there. Right now there is a hole in my soul that won't ever be filled and it hurts like hell. I am comforted that he can breathe now and walk without getting tired; no more oxygen tanks. I am Rosemary's grand daughter, the splitting image of my mother and when the day is done my father's still my biggest fan. Just a song I remember...I know you can relate. You continue to be in the "blessed lane." Sincerely, Piper
Dear Piper,
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I must say, you are never ready to lose your Dad. That being said, take time to grieve and cherish the memories. Let your heart mend, it takes time.
best to you and yours,
-April
